compositions include Flight, for the Vale of Atholl pipe band, Sextet,
for the Hebrides Ensemble, Helensburgh Suite, for Swing 2001 with the
very wonderful Brian Kellock on piano, and Airts for 4 pipers and orchestra,
the result of a Creative Scotland Award.. Dick is the son of Peggy Lee, but not that Peggy Lee. |
Rick B's percussion has delighted audiences in Borneo, Europe, Russia, Japan, Hong Kong and the West Highlands of Scotland. In recent years he has performed with Mr. McFall's Chamber, Cauld Blast Orchestra and Az It Iz, and is composer of Rainforest, The Babbling Brook and Le Mer et les Grands Menhirs. Nigel's musical range is the fruit of many years' playing and studying in diverse musical fields. Not content with the notes usually available, he has invented chromatic Border pipes and a cross between sitar and mandola called a manditar. |
