Motherwell and Wishaw Suite, Dick's latest commission, from Motherwell and District Arts Guild, was played for the first time at Motherwell and District Arts Guild's concert on 28th February 2000 by the North Winds wind quintet. The piece contains evocations of the area, and those who like both football and music will be pleased to know that one of the movements concerns itself with Motherwell FC. It will be part of North Winds' repertoire from now on.
